Lifting the breast (mastopexy) is a surgical procedure that achieves a more harmonious shape of the breasts

Performing a surgical procedure to lift and change sagging breasts and nipples

Duration of the operation: 1-3 hours
Conditions of anesthesia: General anesthesia or local anesthesia under sedation for very limited disorders
Hospitalization: Usually 1 day, without overnight stay for minor disorders.
Possible ailments: Temporary bruising, swelling, loss of sensation, temporary dehydration of the skin, surgical scars
Risks: Markings become distinctive, infection, skin damage, nipple asymmetry, loss of skin sensitivity

Postoperative period:

After surgery, a bandage and bra are worn until healing in the suture area.
Return to work: 1-2 weeks
Heavy exercise: 1 month
Fading of the scars: several months – 1 year
